HARRISBURG, Dec. 30 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger, D-Delaware, today announced $475,200 in Community Conservation Partnership Program grants to develop or rehabilitate three different parks in the 161 st Legislative District. “Improving and creating green spaces is an important investment in the future of our community,” Krueger said. “These are safe and clean spaces for everyone to use. I am happy that we were able to secure this funding and can bring these projects to life.” The grants include: Aston Township, $250,000: Further development of Aston Community Center Park, Aston Township, Delaware County. Work to include construction of amphitheater, retaining walls, pedestrian walkway and stormwater management measures; installation of lighting and utilities; ADA access, landscaping, project sign and other related site improvements. Brookhaven Borough, $116,300 : Rehabilitation of Samson Park, Brookhaven Borough, Delaware County.
