Residents of the district will receive a call to their home phones at 7 p.m. and can simply stay on the line to listen to the discussion. “I love talking to local community members about the issues that are important to them. Their input is critical in my work as their representative, especially as we start budget hearings this month. FOLSOM, Feb. 5 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger will co-host a 2020 census hiring event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 11. The event, co-hosted by state Sen. Tim Kearney, will take place in the conference room at the Ridley Township Library, 100 E. MacDade Blvd. The U.S. Census Bureau is hiring thousands of temporary workers to assist with the 2020 count. “This is a great chance for local residents to learn more about the opportunities that are available and obtain help with applications,” said Krueger, D-Delaware. “I’m pleased to be able to connect community members with jobs that are crucial in helping ensure an accurate census count.” Anyone with questions can contact Krueger’s office at 610-534-6880.
