Dear Neighbor,
As the year winds down, I’m excited to share some updates that highlight the hard work happening in our district and opportunities for you to connect, celebrate, and benefit from available resources.

The Holiday Season is officially here and my team and I are working extra hard to make sure that you have everything you need to finish strong in 2024.

Join the Fun at my Open House
|
Please join us for some holiday fun at my annual Open House on Thursday, December 12th from 5:00pm, to 7:00pm. Come get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus! (They will be collecting new and lightly used toys for Mitzvah Circle and Liz’s Birthday Closet if you would like to bring a contribution.) Enjoy some tasty snacks and cast your vote in our First Annual Festive Desk Contest. It’s going to be a great time. Hope to see you there!

The deadline to apply for the 2023 Property Tax/Rent Rebate program is December 31, 2024. If you haven’t applied yet, there is still time! And remember, the eligibility guidelines have been expanded, so even if you have not qualified in previous years, you may now. Rebates are available for those over the age of 65, widows and widowers over the age of 50 and those who have a verified disability. Your annual income must be under $45,000, but you only need to count half of your Social Security toward this total. If you have questions or would like to make an appointment to apply, please call us at 267-768-3671.
