Delloso: Nearly $4 million awarded for community improvements

RIDLEY PARK, Oct. 23 – New funding of $3,968,000 from the Commonwealth Financing Authority will support multiple community infrastructure and revitalization projects across the 162nd Legislative District, state Rep. David M. Delloso announced today.

"This money will be used to restore older buildings that the community depends on, supply local police with resources they need, and improve safety for pedestrians," Delloso said. "I'm honored to help secure these state funding allocations for the people I proudly represent in Harrisburg."

The grants were awarded by the CFA via one of two programs: the Statewide Local Share Account, which distributes gaming revenues to support regional projects in the public interest; or the Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program, which provides grants to public school districts and area career and technical schools for facility improvement projects and is administered by the state Department of Community & Economic Development.
