I’m reaching out to share details about three upcoming events that I hope you’ll be able to attend. First, this Friday, we have the Love Your Heart Fair, a special event focused on helping you manage your heart health and well-being. I also want to remind you about our Fraud Bingo event in March, which will offer a fun and interactive way to learn how to protect yourself from scams. Finally, I’m excited to announce our Electronic Recycling event this May, where you can safely dispose of your old electronics and make a positive impact on the environment. Here’s a closer look at each event:

Love Your Heart Fair

When: 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 28

Where: Bristol Township Senior Center (2501 Bath Road, Bristol Township)
Join us this Friday for the Love Your Heart Fair. This event will focus on heart health with:

  • Free health screenings
  • Light refreshments
  • Valuable resources to help you maintain a healthy heart for years to come

We recommend RSVPing by emailing RepDavis@pahouse.net, if you plan to attend.

Fraud Bingo Event

When: 1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 6

Where: Bristol Township Senior Center (2501 Bath Road, Bristol Township)
I’ll be hosting a Fraud Bingo event. This unique event, co-hosted with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, the Bucks County Department of Consumer Protection, and local police, is a fun and interactive way to learn how to protect yourself from fraud and scams.

We are also requesting an RSVP to this event, by emailing RepDavis@pahouse.net.

Electronic Recycling Event

When: 9-11 a.m. Saturday, May 17

Where: Bucks County Technical High School (610 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030)
I’m also excited to announce our Electronic Recycling Event in partnership with state Sen. Steve Santarsiero and state Rep. Jim Prokopiak. Bring your old electronics to be properly recycled.

We will also be accepting diaper and baby supply donations at the event. It’s a great opportunity to recycle and give back to the community at the same time.

Shapiro administration announces unfreezing of federal funds

Earlier this week, Governor Josh Shapiro made an important announcement that will benefit our entire state. The $2.1 billion in federal funding owed to Pennsylvania, which was identified during his lawsuit against the Trump Administration, has been officially unfrozen.

This is a huge win for our communities, as these funds will be used to support critical projects, infrastructure improvements, and vital services that help keep our state moving forward.

Thank you, Governor Shapiro, for standing up for Pennsylvania and ensuring that our fair share of funding is finally released.

The scholarship program is privately funded by individual and corporate donations.
