Each year, the Pennsylvania Treasury receives millions of dollars of unclaimed property. It is estimated that roughly one in 10 Pennsylvanians has unclaimed property. Unclaimed property may include: Closed bank accounts; Uncashed checks, including paychecks; Lost stocks and bonds; Contents of safe deposit boxes; Proceeds from the demutualization of insurance companies; Expired gift cards/gift certificates. Nelson announces $2.75M in RACP grants for his district

Nelson teams with high school civics class, other state reps to discuss prison oversight and the legislative process

“My first bill, which I plan to introduce soon, will focus on reforming the prison oversight structure for Class 2-A counties like Montgomery and Delaware,” Nelson said. “Knowing that this will be an opportunity for me and my team to learn the ropes, I thought why not engage our students in this real-world learning process?
