HARRISBURG, March 16 – State Rep. Paul Friel, D-Chester, announced today that Chester County will receive more than $1.8 million in state grants that will benefit local projects and organizations.
“This substantial influx of money will strengthen our community in a variety of ways,” Friel said. “We need things like safer roads, places for people to gather, recreational opportunities, and fire departments that are well-equipped to aid the community. These grants address all those components of a great, safe community.
“I’m happy to help bring this funding back home and will continue to fight for grant money that will make Chester County stronger.”
