Dear Neighbor,

The holidays are here, and I hope they find you sharing time with friends, family and loved ones.

My office will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday and then for New Year’s next Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

I wish everyone a safe and happy 2025! I plan on keeping in touch with you as the Pennsylvania House of Representatives re-embarks on a new two-year session, and I hope to meet even more of you in person in 2025, as I hold a new slate of district events designed to help you save money and time with state services and programs.

Just a reminder, all PennDOT driver license and photo centers will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25. A complete listing of PennDOT driver and photo license center closings in 2024 is available online. If you are planning to visit one of PennDOT's On-Line Messenger Service Centers, please call ahead for hours of operation during holidays.

If you are traveling for the holidays, please take trip safety precautions seriously and arrive alive with a designated driver when you need one. Click here to learn more about becoming a special HERO designated driver.

To check the weather before you drive, you can use www.511PA.com. 511PA provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.

Wherever your trips take you, I hope that you return home safely, too. My office will be here to serve you when you do!

Sincerely,
