What a fantastic way to celebrate #TamponTuesday! I was so proud to stand with my friend and sister Lynette Medley my mentor Rep. Carol Hill-Evans, our fierce leader, SPEAKER Rep. Joanna McClinton & other colleagues, friends & advocates to tell the Senate to pass HB 850 & HB 851! Half of our population gets a period EVERY MONTH! We shouldn't be whispering about period poverty anymore - I'm screaming about it inside our state Capitol! LET'S END PERIOD POVERTY NOW.

We hit the ground running in January with an Agricultural & Rural Affairs meeting and throughout February we listened to testimony from experts and stakeholders who support our seniors, we learned more about how important it is to fund mass transit. In March, we've started off strong advocating to get rid of dangerous ghost guns and the need for funding the Safer Communities Grant Program.

Hosting and attending events throughout our wonderful communities reminds me how honored I am to be your state Representative!

The Majority Policy Committee convened a hearing at Beloved St. John Church, hosted by Reps. Darisha Parker and Amen Brown, to discuss the ongoing issue of illegal ATV use on city streets. Members heard testimony from concerned residents, Philadelphia police, and city officials.
