Webster secures additional $1 million for two local projects

HARRISBURG, June 22 – State Rep. Joe Webster, D-Montgomery, today announced the awarding of an additional $1 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funding earmarked for two rehabilitative projects in the area. Of that funding, $500,000 was awarded to continue the upgrades at the Jeffersonville Golf Club and another $500,000 will be utilized for improvements to East Main Street in Collegeville. The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program is a grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects. “I am happy to see the Jeffersonville Golf Club awarded another $500,000 to construct their new clubhouse,” Webster said. “This latest round of awards puts the total amount invested in the redesign of the Jeffersonville Golf Club well over $3 million. Community investments like this create flourishing local economies that see compounding benefits year after year.” The project is geared toward the construction of a new clubhouse building, which will include a restaurant and a banquet facility to be utilized by the community’s residents. Montgomery County organizations awarded $494K in state grants

HARRISBURG, June 8 – State Reps. Joe Ciresi, Liz Hanbidge and Joe Webster, all D-Montgomery, today announced that three local children and youth welfare organizations would be receiving $494,102 in state grants to support substance use treatment services and education programs and child abuse victims’ programs in Montgomery County from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. WEST NORRITON TOWNSHIP, April 25 – State Rep. Joe Webster, D-Montgomery, today announced the awarding of an additional $1 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program funding to the Jeffersonville Golf Club for construction of a new clubhouse. This latest $1 million award brings the total amount of grants awarded for renovations at the Jeffersonville Golf Club to $2 million.
