Guenst, Sanchez to host senior fair

WILLOW GROVE, April 20 – State Reps. Nancy Guenst and Ben Sanchez will host a senior fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 29 at the Giant Food Store, 315 York Road, Willow Grove.
Older adults, their family members and caregivers are invited to attend. Representatives from federal, state and local agencies, and organizations will be on hand with information and resources for seniors on topics such as health care, nutrition, transportation, volunteer opportunities, identity theft protection and more.
The following vaccines will also be available at the event: Pfizer COVID-19 first doses and boosters, pneumonia, 65+ flu, shingles, TDAP, and HepB.
To ensure the pharmacists are well-stocked, anyone interested in receiving a vaccine is encouraged to call Guenst’s office at 215-259-5962 or email RepGuenst@pahouse.net with their name and the type of vaccination needed.
“I’m pleased to work with Representative Sanchez to provide resources to older adults in our community so that they can maintain active and healthy lifestyles,” Guenst said.
Sanchez added, “This event will be a one-stop shop for state, county and local information on a wide variety of topics that affect seniors every day, and I look forward to helping community members find the information they need.”
