The Democratic Policy Committee took a tour, hosted by Reps. Tina Davis and Ben Sanchez, of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542 Health Center, in Fort Washington, PA. Following the tour, lawmakers hosted a roundtable discussion to gather feedback from union officials on the importance of affordable healthcare options.

The House Democratic Policy Committee traveled to Montgomery County to explore ways to better address food insecurity and homelessness across Pennsylvania. After meeting with housing and hunger advocates, members headed to a local food pantry to make food donations and help volunteers pack meals. The event was hosted by Reps. Ben Sanchez and Melissa Cerrato.
