Rep. Mark Rozzi October 9, 2020 | 1:23 PM
TEMPLE, Oct. 9 – State Rep. Mark Rozzi is encouraging Berks County residents to take advantage of free COVID-19 testing scheduled for Reading next week at the Front Street parking lot at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading. Testing is scheduled to take place from Tuesday through Saturday.
“Unfortunately, Berks County has seen an increase of COVID-19 cases in recent weeks,” Rozzi said. “The Pennsylvania Department of Health detailed the reason for concern this morning, and I’m asking all residents – including those who have shown no symptoms but have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive – to take advantage of this free service. Help our community avoid a larger outbreak by being responsible.”
Testing will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday through Thursday, and from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
More information on the test site and increase of cases can be found on the Department of Health website.
