2024 Disability & Mental Health Summit Continuing Education

Thank you for your interest in continuing education at the Disability & Mental Health Summit. We have applied for sessions to be eligible for the following credits:

• Teachers (Act 48) – approved for up to 11 credit hours.
• Lawyers (CLE) – Selected sessions (see list below) are approved for up to 7 credit hours – only $1.50 per credit hour.
• Rehabilitation Counselors CRC (CE) – All sessions are eligible for credit up to 10 hours for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors. 
• Social Workers (CEU) - All sessions are eligable for credit up to 11 hours for Social Workers at a cost of $15 for NASW members and $25 for non-members.
  
  NOTE: NASW-PA Chapter is a co-sponsor of this workshop. 11 CEs will be awarded for completion of this course. NASW has been designated as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36), Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.

• 10 a.m. Thursday - Transportation: Issues, Advocacy and Resources
• 10 a.m. Thursday - Your Child’s First IEP
• 1 p.m. Thursday - Don’t Count Me Out! Reducing Early Childhood Suspension and Expulsion
• 2 p.m. Thursday - Legislative Panel
   
• 11 a.m. Friday - Individual Advocacy and Systemic Change in Healthcare
• 1 p.m. Friday - Legislative Panel
