Rep. Dan Miller May 6, 2025 | 2:02 PM
Hello!
Our 12th annual Disability & Mental Health Summit is this Thursday, May 8 – we can’t wait to see you there! Our event will be held on CCAC’s Allegheny Campus (located at 808 Ridge Ave., Pgh, PA 15212) in three buildings:
- Foerster Student Service Center
- Milton Hall
- Physical Education Building (Gym)
An interactive map of building locations, parking, and other details can be found here.
Registration
When you arrive, please go to the Foerster Student Service Center’s 2nd floor where you’ll find our pre-registration table to check-in.
Adjacent to our registration area is the Auditorium, where the Keynote, Legislative Panel and some sessions will be held. Most of the sessions will be held in Milton Hall, directly behind the Student Service Center.
The 2nd floor will also feature an Assistive Technology Fair and an Art Exhibit from Creative Citizen Studio.
While you’re at the Summit, check out our Resource Fair, which is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Gym. This FREE event offers opportunities for you to connect with services and resources that matter to you.
Parking
Parking will be available in the following locations on CCAC’s campus.
- Student Lot #1 on Monument Hill – after 10:30 a.m.
- Faculty & Staff Lot adjacent to Student Lot #1 – after 10:30 a.m.
- Faculty & Staff Lot on Ridge Ave. near Library (also called the Jones Hall lot)
- Student Lot #2 on Ridge Ave. near Subway/Graybar
- Student Lot #4 across the street from Taco Bell. This lot is available until 3pm.
- There is a staff lot at the corner of North Lincoln Ave. and Allegheny Ave. (enter from Allegheny Ave.) that is gated. CCAC is opening this lot to Summit attendees. If you park there, pull up to the gate, push the button, and the driver will need to say that they are going to the Disability & Mental Health Summit, and they will be admitted.
Accessible parking on-campus is available in most lots and along Legacy Way. Here’s an accessible Allegheny Campus map.
Ample street parking is available around the campus and near Allegheny Commons Park West (West Park).
Programming Note
Due to overwhelming interest, many breakout session rooms are at or near capacity. Pre-registered attendees will have priority in seating. Please note that some rooms will be standing room only.
Food and Beverages
Food or beverages are permitted. There is a Starbucks located on Ridge Ave. in the same building as the gym. Items will be available for purchase at a self-service grab-and-go area in the Foerster Student Service Center.
