Veterans outreach July 18 at McNeill’s office

WHITEHALL, July 8 – Area veterans are invited to take part in the monthly support program at the office of state Rep. Jeanne McNeill.

“The veterans outreach program is a great way for those who served our country to learn about the programs and services to which they are entitled,” McNeill said. “The specialist also provides guidance in applying for those programs and services for those who qualify. I’m pleased we’re able to offer this popular service to residents, and I encourage those who served to make an appointment.”

A representative from the American Legion Service Office Outreach program will be in McNeill's office at 1080 Schadt Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, July 18 to provide information on services available to veterans and their families. The representative will be available to discuss education, health care and death benefits.

Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help, but anyone interested in speaking to the advisers is encouraged to schedule an appointment through McNeill’s office at 610-266-1273.
