Rep. Jeanne McNeill August 19, 2020 | 4:10 PM
HARRISBURG, Aug. 19 – State Rep. Jeanne McNeill, D-Lehigh, today announced that Catasauqua Borough will receive a $425,000 PA Small Water and Sewer grant for its Lehigh Canal Interceptor Rehabilitation Project.
“This critical funding investment is one more way to ensure that our water and sewer systems will be better able to operate safely and in a more consistent manner,” said McNeill. “This grant is one example of how the Commonwealth is working with local communities to make important upgrades to our aging sewer and waste water systems.”
According to McNeill, the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program offers grants for small water and sewer infrastructure projects and can be used to assist with the construction, improvement, expansion, or rehabilitation or repair of a water supply or sanitary sewer system.
