Sen. Tim Kearney and the Delaware County State Legislative Delegation is partnering with PennDOT to host an informational webinar on April 22 at 6:00 p.m. to help residents better understand the REAL ID requirements.
Beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license/photo ID card, or another form of federally acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID.
Our webinar will highlight what documents are required to get a REAL ID and feature a Q&A portion where participants can have their own REAL ID questions answered.

The City of Philadelphia Department of Commerce launched the Corridor Enhancement Grant, a fund that contributes to equitable neighborhood revitalization and vibrant business districts.
The Corridor Enhancement Grant supports community-serving nonprofits dedicated to enhancing the appearance, safety, livability of business districts in the neighborhoods they serve. The goal is to increase foot traffic, attract new businesses, promote available commercial real estate and build a sense of community.

High school seniors who will be attending a PA college or university in the fall have until April 15 to apply for the PA House of Representatives Scholarship. Two scholarships are awarded each year. The award can be used towards the cost of tuition and fees for a four-year program at a college, university, or career school in Pennsylvania. Half of each annual award will be paid in the fall semester and half in the spring semester. Students must maintain eligibility criteria in all four years to receive ongoing awards. The Property Tax Rent Rebate program is open!
The rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 or older; widows and widowers 50 or older; and people with disabilities 18 or older.
This year, eligible applicants will receive a one-time bonus Property Tax/Rent Rebate payment, which is 70% of the original rebate amount for every claimant who’s been approved for a rebate on rent or property taxes paid in 2024.
Applications can be filed online at mypath.pa.gov.
