Will I be seeing you next week at the West Philly Career fair?

Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father's Day to every dad, mentor, big brother, uncle, friend and father figure for inspiring our children and making a difference in the lives of our neighbors! Although my dad Papa McClinton is in heaven, I remember his hearty laugh, joyous personality and love for people.

This week in Harrisburg!

This week the Pennsylvania House Democrats fought and won to deliver $5 billion in new funding to close the gap between schools without taking a dime from any school and $1.4 billion for kids in every school. We fought and won to deliver $1 billion in property tax relief for the homeowners who’ve been paying too much for too long and put nearly a half billion dollars back in your pocket by finally treating cyber charter schools like the taxpayer-funded schools they’ve always been. We owe it to our kids. We owe it to ourselves. Now it’s time for the State Senate to join us and live up to our constitutional and moral obligation. We also passed legislation requiring pre and postnatal health care providers to distribute information related to postpartum depression to mothers and their families, ensuring health insurers to cover biomarker testing and expanding access to information on opioid overdoses.
