Yeadon Blood Drive

The Yeadon Police Department is hosting a Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on Thursday, June 6, 2024, in Yeadon Borough Hall. This blood drive is not only a friendly competition between the police and fire department; it is focused on giving back to the community. If members of the community that donate and identify as African American or Black, the donations can be utilized to fight sickle cell anemia. Biomedical Tech Training Program for Adults Living and Learning in Philadelphia

Through this program, graduates will be prepared to connect to Research Technician or Aseptic Manufacturing Technician roles where they will support the development and/or production of therapies to treat diseases.

Join the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency in June for National Homeownership Month, as it presents “The Path to Homeownership” series on the home-buying process.

Each 45-minute live session is free and offered at noon and 6 p.m.

By attending these sessions, you will learn the critical steps in the home-buying process before making a commitment.

PTRR Deadline extension

The Property Tax Rent Rebate program application deadline has been extended to December 31!

The rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 or older; widows and widowers 50 or older; and people with disabilities 18 or older.

This year, eligible applicants will receive a one-time bonus Property Tax/Rent Rebate payment, which is 70% of the original rebate amount for every claimant who’s been approved for a rebate on rent or property taxes paid in 2023.

Applications can be filed online at mypath.pa.gov.
