Delloso reminds residents to register for Saturday’s expungement clinic

RIDLEY PARK, Feb. 17 -- State  Rep. David Delloso is reminding residents interested in the free Virtual Expungement and Pardon Clinic to register before Saturday in order to take part in the event. The clinic is being led by members of the Legal Aid Society of Southeastern PA and will take place online from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The event is being co-hosted by Delloso and Sen. Tim Kearney.

“Senator Kearney and I worked together to organize this important event,” Delloso said. “This event is for people who are interested or inquiring about another way to improve their lives. Legal experts can review their records to determine if they are eligible to have charges or convictions expunged or sealed.”

Criteria for candidates include:

  • Non-conviction charges, including ARD and summary convictions, with no arrests in the last five years. (Non-summary convictions cannot be expunged.)
  • Some misdemeanors can be sealed following a 10-year window.
  • You cannot be serving probation.
  • You cannot have current criminal charges.

People are reminded to register before Saturday by going to bit.ly/FEB20EXPUNGE.
