Davis announces $55,000 grant for Hulmeville

Grant will allow borough to make renovations to its borough hall

LEVITTOWN, March 15 – Continuing her effort to provide the funding needed for projects in her district, Rep. Tina Davis, D-Bucks, announced Hulmeville Borough will receive a $55,000 grant through the Department of Community Economic Development.

“I’m pleased to see state money being approved to help the completion of a local project that will benefit our community and our residents,” Davis said. “The funds announced today will allow Hulmeville to move forward with their renovation of their borough hall.”

Located at 321 Main St., Hulmeville Borough Hall formerly served as a school, housing grades one through 12. Borough council meetings take place in the hall and the borough’s police department is located in the same building.

Hulmeville is celebrating its sesquicentennial in 2022, and it will host numerous events to commemorate the borough’s 150th anniversary.
