HARRISBURG, Nov. 8, 2024 – Pennsylvania House Democratic Leaders today issued the following statement on the results of the 2024 General Election:
“For the past two years, House Democrats worked on the issues people care about, like cutting costs for working families, record investments in public education, delivering much-needed property tax and rent relief, keeping prescription costs down for seniors, strengthening our workforce and economy and making government work.
“The people returned our caucus to the majority, which is an affirmation of our agenda and a credit to the pragmatic and moderate stewardship of House Democrats and Governor Josh Shapiro. We're grateful for this opportunity and ready to continue to help our neighbors.
“House Democrats partnered with Governor Shapiro to get stuff done for Pennsylvanians. We look forward to continuing that strong partnership with the governor and delivering real results for all Pennsylvanians.”
