UPPER DARBY, Aug. 25 – State Rep. Gina H. Curry, D-Delaware, is bringing a free ballet experience to Lansdowne thanks to a partnership that she has formed between the Lansdowne YMCA and the School of Philadelphia Ballet.
“I am a proud supporter of the arts,” Curry said. “That is why I am excited to bring this program from the School of Philadelphia Ballet to the 164th Legislative District. Children in the district can take part in a free class presented by one of the best ballet schools in the nation, right here in my district.”
From noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 27 children in the 164th District ages three to eight years old are invited to the Lansdowne YMCA for a free Community Dance Day. Walk-ups are welcome but registration is encouraged. Interested parents/guardians can register through the link here: Lansdowne Satellite Program - Philadelphia Ballet.
