Rep. Gina Curry to Serve as Women’s Health Caucus Co-Chair

HARRISBURG, Dec. 9 — The Pennsylvania Women’s Health Caucus announced that state Rep. Gina Curry (D-Delaware) will serve as a co-chair for the 2023-2024 Legislative Session.

Curry was first elected to the state legislature in 2021. Before seeking elected office, Curry had a long career as an educator and has a background in promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. As a co-chair of the WHC, Curry is committed to addressing issues facing Pennsylvanians like maternity care deserts and systemic inequities in the health care system.

“I consider my newest appointment to serve as co-chair for the Women’s Health Caucus an honor,” Curry said. “I look forward to working hard on the inadequate access and inequitable health care concerns that impact women in my district and across the commonwealth at alarming rates. My goal is to work with my colleagues on surveying the needs and finding innovative ways to educate and bring a comprehensive, expansive awareness and solutions to women’s healthcare needs.”
