Curry to hold Inspi-HER’d, a youth girls’ event

UPPER DARBY, April 13 – State Rep. Gina H. Curry will host, Inspi-HER’d, a fun field day for girls in fifth through eighth grades, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

The event will take place at Hoffman Park, 34 Scottdale Road, Lansdowne. It will include outdoor workshops, field day activities and more. Lunch will be provided.

“May is mental health awareness month,” Curry said. “It is important that we come together as a community to support the health and wellness for girls in a positive and affirming way. I am pleased to be able to host this outdoor event and I am looking forward to a day of fun for all.”

Curry will be joined by youth community leaders. They will be available to provide information on state-related programs and youth services.

Registration is required, RSVP here by April 29. 

All registered attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times for the duration of the event.
