Cookies & Cocoa with Rep. Curry is almost here! I hope to see you for sweet treats and cocoa at our district office next Thursday, Dec. 18, for our annual winter open house. It’s a great opportunity to get familiar with our office and meet me and my team.

During the open house, team members can answer your questions about the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, which closes for applications on Dec. 31.  There’s more information on the PTRR Program below. We can also share resources on the many other state programs we offer. If you want to talk with someone about PTRR, make an appointment by calling 610-259-7016.

Don’t miss the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program Dec. 31 deadline!

The deadline to apply for your Property Tax/Rent Rebate is December 31, 2025.

You may be eligible for a Property Tax/Rent Rebate for claim year 2024 if your annual household income was $46,520 or less and you were:

• 65 or older as of December 31, 2024.
• 50 or older and a widow or widower during all or part of 2024.
• Permanently disabled and 18 or older during all or part of 2024.

*Note: when calculating total income, exclude one-half of your Social Security benefits.

Earlier this week I joined the House Policy Committee for a tour and roundtable discussion at the Sheetmetal Workers Local 19 Training Center. We learned a lot about what goes into their work and training and had productive conversations about how we can better support, train, and invest in Pennsylvania’s workforce.

Danielle and Rick from the Government Affairs and Social Responsibility Office of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union recently stopped by to drop off a diaper donation for our diaper drive. Thank you so much for supporting local young families and infants! Neighbors helping neighbors is how we build strong communities.

The Diaper Drive ends TODAY, Friday, Dec. 12 at close-of-business for each drop-off location. My office and Sen. Kearney’s office close at 4:30 p.m. The Lansdowne YMCA will be open until 9:00 p.m.

We are so grateful to everyone who has donated so far! Thanks for making this donation drive a huge success!
