Pa. state Rep. Regina Young presented the Tinicum Township Fire Company with a check for over $15,000 to support the brave volunteers of Station 48 in Essington. The grant comes from the Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program which is administered by the Office of the State Fire Commissioner and will help with the costs associated with upgrading their river rescue operations.
