HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS

Out of appreciation for all the hard work my district office staff has done this year, our office will be closed from Dec. 23 through Jan. 1. During this time, we will be checking voicemails and scheduling appointments with constituents as needed.

Have a safe and happy holiday season!

MY NEW ROLE ON THE HOUSE MAJORITY POLICY COMMITTEE

I’m excited to announce that I have been appointed to serve as chair of the PA House Majority Policy Committee’s Subcommittee on Labor, Energy, and Development. In this new role, I will continue pushing to bring down the cost of living, establish a living wage, and other policies to ease the economic anxiety working Pennsylvanians are feeling.

PROPERTY TAX/RENT REBATE DEADLINE

Pennsylvanians have until Dec. 31 to apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. The state Department of Revenue has already received over 523,000 rebate claims in 2024, including nearly 103,000 first-time applicants. Those eligible for PTRR include elder adults and Pennsylvanians with disabilities who meet income criteria. My colleagues and I fought hard to expand this program and we want everyone who is eligible to get a rebate on taxes or rent they paid in 2023.

Use this link to apply online and contact my office for assistance applying.

If you’ve already applied for a rebate, you can check the status of your rebate using the “Where’s My Rebate?” tool on myPATH.

SAVE MONEY ON HEALTH CARE WITH PENNIE

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but health coverage is so delightful! Don’t get left out in the cold this season – find affordable health care with Pennie, the state’s official health care marketplace. Enroll as soon as possible – open enrollment ends on Jan. 15.

Every year, thousands of Pennsylvanians save money at the doctor’s office by enrolling in Pennie. If you’re looking for high quality health care at a low price, Pennie is the place to find it. Contact my office if you have any questions or need assistance.

?? PREPARE FOR TRAFFIC EMERGENCIES ??

Do you participate in the Yellow Dot Program? It helps people in traffic crashes or emergencies when they can't talk. This program is a shared effort between PennDOT, the state departments of Health and Aging, the State Police, Turnpike Commission, first responders, and local law enforcement.

Placing a Yellow Dot decal in your vehicle's rear window alerts first responders to check your glove compartment for vital information to ensure you receive the medical attention you need.

Learn more about the program and join here.
