Guzman to hold virtual town hall on Black History Month

HARRISBURG, Feb. 16 – State Rep. Manny Guzman, D-Berks, will host a virtual town hall at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22 on Black History Month and how public officials and people alike can make a difference in their community.

Lt. Governor Austin Davis, House Majority Leader Joanna McClinton and Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus Chair Rep. Donna Bullock will be on the panel for this town hall.

“I am honored to be joined by a panel of successful and diverse leaders of the Commonwealth to celebrate and discuss Black History Month,” Guzman said. “Black History Month honors significant figures and occasions in African American history. As we remember these brave men and women, their courage motivates us to make the most of every opportunity and not let a setback keep us from realizing our own ambitions.”

The virtual town hall will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and can be accessed at either RepMannyGuzman.com or on Facebook at: @RepGuzman. The public is invited to send in questions to RepGuzman@pahouse.net during the event or prior for the panel to answer.
