Rep. Guzman to host online event to detail services available at his office

READING, Jan. 4 – State Rep.-elect Manny Guzman will host an online event at 7 p.m. Thursday to introduce himself to residents and explain what services his office can provide. A link to the online event will be posted at RepMannyGuzman.com.

“One of the greatest responsibilities of my job is helping people,” Guzman said. “I was elected to represent the people in the city of Reading and the borough of Kenhorst. I promise to provide our community a voice in Harrisburg, but I’m also committed to making sure people in our district can apply for the assistance and programs the state provides.”

Guzman’s office is equipped to help people apply for state programs, like the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program – which helps seniors, widows, widowers and people with disabilities. His office also can answer questions and help people apply for heat and energy assistance, COVID-19 assistance, unclaimed property, driver and vehicle services, and free notary services when needed for state documents.

“This event is an opportunity to let residents learn more about me and become comfortable using our office for all of their state-related needs,” said Guzman, who will be sworn in for his first term on Tuesday. “I want people to know we can help them when they need questions answered.”

Guzman’s office is located on the fourth floor at 645 Penn St. Residents can reach the office by calling 610-376-1529 or emailing RepGuzman@pahouse.net.
