Davidson secures $25,000 for downtown Camp Hill revitalization

CAMP HILL, Feb. 10 – State Rep. Nate Davidson, D-Cumberland/Dauphin, today presented a ceremonial check for $25,000 to the Downtown Camp Hill Association during an event at the Water Shed Pub. This state funding is earmarked to launch a renewed Technical Assistance Panel, a strategic initiative designed to drive downtown revitalization.

Davidson said the investment will allow the association to utilize expert-driven guidance to improve infrastructure design, enhance economic vitality, and reimagine underutilized properties throughout the borough. This effort aligns with the borough’s upcoming comprehensive plan to ensure Camp Hill remains a resilient and thriving hub for residents and visitors alike.

“This investment will provide our community with more strategies and tools to revitalize and strengthen our local business district,” said Davidson. “Investing in our downtown is about supporting the small businesses and community leaders who continue to make Camp Hill a great place to live.”

Davidson said the funding supports the association’s mission to strengthen the business district using the Pennsylvania Downtown Center’s Main Street Approach, fostering a vital partnership between local government and community organizations.

Joining Representative Davidson for the presentation were Brian Hinkle from the Downtown Camp Hill Association and Mayor Mark Simpson.
