Davidson appointed to six committees in PA House of Representatives

HARRISBURG, Jan. 9 – State Rep. Nate Davidson, D-Cumberland/Dauphin, was appointed by House Speaker Joanna McClinton to serve on the Pennsylvania House Communications & Technology; Energy; Game & Fisheries; Professional Licensure; State Government; and Intergovernmental Affairs & Operations committees for the 2025-26 legislative session.

Davidson said his committee assignments are an opportunity to put his experience to work for the benefit of the Susquehanna Valley and communities across the commonwealth.

"It is a great opportunity to serve on these committees and work collaboratively with the other members to craft commonsense, bipartisan legislation," Davidson said. "I am grateful to the speaker and Democratic leadership for their confidence in my ability to get to work right away on many important issues.

“Committee work plays a crucial role in the legislative process by providing an environment for reviewing, analyzing, and refining proposed legislation. Whether it is reforming state government, growing our regional economy to attract more family sustaining jobs, or prioritizing healthy and safe communities, these committee assignments touch on many important issue areas to the Susquehanna Valley. I look forward to our first meetings later this month and for legislation to begin to move for consideration by the body.”

Davidson was sworn in to his first term Tuesday, representing the 103rd Legislative District, which includes parts of the city of Harrisburg in Dauphin County, as well as Camp Hill, Lemoyne, and Wormleysburg boroughs, and East Pennsboro Township in Cumberland County.
