Davidson sworn in to represent Dauphin, Cumberland counties, will focus on building healthy and safe communities

HARRISBURG, Jan. 7 – State Rep. Nate Davidson was sworn into the Pennsylvania House of Representatives today, beginning his first term serving the 103rd Legislative District.

“Beginning my first session as state representative is an exciting opportunity to serve my community,” said Davidson, D-Cumberland/Dauphin. “Representing my neighbors in the General Assembly is an incredible honor, and my experience working in the House of Representatives has prepared me to deliver on day one.

“I look forward to working collaboratively with my colleagues from across the Commonwealth to advance an agenda that prioritizes healthy and safe communities, reforming state government, and making Pennsylvania a great place to live and raise a family.”

The 103rd Legislative District includes parts of the city of Harrisburg in Dauphin County, as well as Camp Hill, Lemoyne, Wormleysburg and East Pennsboro Township in Cumberland County. Davidson previously worked as floor manager to the Pennsylvania House Democratic Caucus and senior advisor to the House Appropriations Committee chair. Born and raised in Dauphin County, Davidson is a graduate of Messiah College. He now resides in Harrisburg with his wife and family.

The Pennsylvania General Assembly is currently in its 209th consecutive legislative session, which began today. The 2025-26 legislative session runs through Nov. 30, 2026.

The Oath of Office was administered by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Debra Todd, and Davidson took the oath on the Pennsylvania Constitution and a Bible that belonged to his father. The invocation was given by Bishop Maureen L. Davis, who is pastor of the Open Door Mission True Light Church, located in Philadelphia.
