I hope this message finds you well. As we move through a busy and meaningful season in the 151st District, I want to share several important updates with you—some bittersweet, some celebratory, and all rooted in the work we do together as a community.

A Fond Farewell to a Valued Member of Our Team
It is never easy to say goodbye to someone who has been such an essential part of our work, and last week, our team had to do just that. After three years of dedicated service, our Constituent Services Advisor, Alex Myers, has moved on to the next chapter of his career.
Since the day we opened the doors of our district office, Alex has been a constant presence—helping residents navigate state agencies, find solutions to complex challenges, and ensuring that every person who walked in felt heard and respected. His commitment to building this office from the ground up has helped shape the way we serve the people of the 151st District.
While we will miss him greatly, we are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and excited for what lies ahead for him. On behalf of our entire team, thank you, Alex, for your hard work, your heart, and your unwavering dedication to our community.

Celebrating Excellence in Local Law Enforcement
I was honored to join the Montgomery Township Police Department in recognizing two outstanding officers and their K9 partners: Officer Andrew Haber and K9 Riggs, and Officer Nicholas Eufrasio and K9 Niko.
These teams were recognized by the United States Police Canine Association, Region 6, for earning the highest number of certifications—a remarkable achievement that reflects rigorous training, exceptional skill, and a deep commitment to public safety.
It was a privilege to celebrate their accomplishments and to thank them for the countless hours they devote to protecting our community. And yes, I made sure to give Riggs and Niko some well-deserved attention. Their service, alongside their handlers, makes our neighborhoods safer and stronger.

A Special Ramadan Gathering
One of the greatest privileges of this job is getting to know the people I serve, and recently, I had the joy of being welcomed into the home of two constituents I had never met before. Sharing a Ramadan dinner with Rabia and Adam, along with their wonderful friends, was a deeply meaningful experience.
Their warmth, generosity, and hospitality were truly moving. Moments like these remind me how fortunate I am to represent such a diverse and welcoming community. I am grateful to them for opening their home, their table, and their hearts.

Working to Protect Consumers from Unpredictable Pricing
I also had the opportunity to join colleagues for a bicameral policy hearing focused on an issue affecting families across Pennsylvania: the growing use of dynamic pricing.
Dynamic pricing, where prices shift rapidly based on demand or algorithmic models, has become increasingly common across industries. While some businesses view it as a tool for managing supply and demand, many consumers experience it as unpredictable, confusing, and sometimes unfair.
During the hearing, we discussed several key concerns:
- Transparency — Consumers deserve clear information about how and why prices change.
- Fairness — Pricing models must not disadvantage certain groups or communities.
- Stability — Families need consistent pricing to plan and manage household budgets.
- Accountability — Businesses using complex pricing tools should meet standards that protect consumers.
Our goal is to ensure that Pennsylvanians are not left vulnerable to sudden or unexplained price changes. As we continue this work, we remain focused on balancing innovation with strong consumer protections.
