State Rep. Jared Solomon, D-Phila., has secured a $30,000 grant for the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association from the state Department of Community and Economic Development.
The grant will be used for professional street cleaning initiatives and administrative costs associated with the Oxford Circle Cleaning Project.
“This is a shining example of what can happen when community organizations partner with state government for the benefit of our communities,” Solomon said. “I was happy to secure this grant for OCCCDA so they can continue the great work they do to make Northeast Philadelphia a great place to live.”
