Sappey to host free Veterans Breakfast and Recognition Ceremony Nov. 6

KENNETT SQUARE, Oct. 27 – State Rep. Christina Sappey invites veterans and their families in the 158th Legislative District to attend her fifth annual Veterans Breakfast and Recognition Ceremony from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, at the Kennett Square VFW Post 5467, 704 W. Baltimore Pike.
“This annual breakfast for the veterans of our community is both an expression of gratitude for their service and an opportunity for them to learn more about the benefits and services available to veterans and their families,” said Sappey, D-Chester. “I look forward to meeting with the veterans of our community and sharing information that could help them now and in the future.”
A free hot breakfast will be provided, as well as information on state-government-related programs and services available to veterans.
A keynote address will be delivered by Brig. Gen. Francis R. Montgomery, who is the assistant adjutant general with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

The 158th District is composed of the boroughs of Avondale and Kennett Square, as well as the following townships: East Fallowfield, East Marlborough, Kennett, New Garden, Newlin, Pocopson, West Bradford, and West Marlborough.
