Hearing: Statute of Limitations Reform

On Thursday, April 23 at 1 p.m., the House Majority Policy Committee will convene a hearing on the need for statute of limitations reform, hosted by Rep. Nate Davidson (D-Dauphin, Cumberland). The hearing will focus on legislation that would extend the civil statute of limitations in Pennsylvania for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to seek compensation from their abusers. Members will hear testimony from survivors, advocates and legal experts about gaps in the current framework and how reform would help finally deliver much-needed justice.

The hearing will take place at The YWCA of Greater Harrisburg, 1101 Market St, Harrisburg, PA 17103 and will also be livestreamed here.
