As of April 22, 2022, Pennsylvania's School Audit Bureau was closed and the responsibility of auditing schools across the Commonwealth now falls on the Department of Education. Having been housed in and operated by the office of the Pennsylvania Auditor General for the last 30 years, much is unknown about how our schools will be audited in the future, so lawmakers will convene in Harrisburg to gain further understanding.
The hearing will be hosted by Chair Ryan Bizzarro and Rep. Joe Ciresi in 418 MC, Capitol Complex, Harrisburg, on Wednesday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m.
