Supply Chain Disruption in PA on Cyber Monday
Policy Committee November 29, 2021 | 4:19 PM
On Cyber Monday, it was projected that online sales would top $11.5 million and the flood of goods purchased online inevitably hits Pennsylvania ports, roads and rails. That means greater strain on workers and infrastructure, which may or may not be built to support this type of commerce.
The PA House Democratic Policy Committee explored Pennsylvania’s supply chain at a hearing held at 1 p.m. on Cyber Monday, Nov. 29, in room 418 Main Capitol, Harrisburg. Testifiers from across the Commonwealth participated virtually.
