Hearing to discuss how colleges fill in-demand careers

The labor market in northeast Pennsylvania needs workers and Lackawanna College set itself apart by partnering with industry so students at their institution can get the education employers are looking for.  A two-day hearing took place on Oct. 19 and 20 in Northeast Pennsylvania to discuss how the region is trains the next generation of workers for today's energy jobs.

The Oct. 19 hearing consisted of a tour of the technical training facilities at Lackawanna College in Tunkhannnock, PA. The Oct. 20 hearing took place at Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA.
