Pashinski ready to work tirelessly on behalf of Northeast PA

HARRISBURG, Jan. 3 – State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski today was sworn in to begin his ninth term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives during a noon ceremony at the state Capitol.

“I’m tremendously honored and humbled to be able to continue representing the 121st Legislative District in the new legislative session,” said Pashinski, D-Luzerne. “Today, we again took the sacred oath to protect and defend our Constitution as we were sworn into office – a promise that I will never take lightly. In 2023, I will keep working tirelessly on behalf of all of my constituents to improve their lives by advocating for property tax relief, help for grandparents raising grandchildren, appropriate funding for public education, access to affordable quality health care and much more.”

Pashinski maintains an office at 152 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Wilkes-Barre. He also can be reached by phone at 570-825-5934 or through his website www.RepPashinski.com, where people can sign up for email updates and find a variety of helpful links to state programs. He can be followed on Facebook and Twitter @RepPashinski.

Pashinski said he's excited that the House Democratic Caucus has the largest and most diverse class of freshmen legislators in over a decade, with 26 new members, including eight women.

“The caucus also continues to reflect the diversity of our state and country, which provides a more complete understanding of the needs of the people we represent. Of, by and for the people is at the heart of our Constitution and our democracy,” Pashinski said.
