HARRISBURG, May 22 – State Rep. Kyle Mullins, D-Lackawanna, along with Sens. Marty Flynn and Rosemary Brown, today announced the distribution of Local Share Account grants throughout the 112th House District, which spans from Dunmore to Carbondale and its surrounding municipalities.
The Commonwealth Financing Authority approved $793,747 in grant funding for projects that will enhance and improve the communities served by Mullins.
“Our residents deserve these continued investments that increase their sense of pride and safety in their community,” said Mullins. “From improving public safety to supporting our veterans, these projects undoubtedly improve the region we call home; and I’m committed to continue fighting for such investments in our community.”

The Local Share Account funds from casinos located in host or contiguous counties are distributed by the Department of Community and Economic Development and are designed to support economic development, job training, community improvement and public interest projects.
