Transportation touches every facet of our lives and as Majority Chair of the House Transportation Committee, I see the need to come together and find solutions to problems facing Pennsylvania's transportation sector. That's why we're touring the commonwealth and I'm hosting a series of meetings titled: “Moving PA Forward by Investing in Roads, Bridges, and Transit.” We'll meet with leading experts from the transportation sector throughout the remainder of August and into September to explore new initiatives which will elevate Pennsylvania’s position to a national leader in transportation.

Thanks to a grant from Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, members of the 8th Police District Advisory Council, parishioners and community members gave the Bethany African Methodist Episcopal church in northeast Philadelphia a fresh coat of paint.
