Rep. Kyle Mullins November 15, 2023 | 9:53 AM
Pa. state Rep. Kyle Mullins joined advocates and colleagues to push for more biomarker testing awareness and coverage in the Commonwealth. Detecting biomarkers, which are changes, mutations or proteins in cancer cells, can determine which medical treatments will work best for each patient and can save lives. Mullins has introduced bipartisan legislation in the House with Rep. Bryan Cutler which would ensure that patients can obtain effective and efficient treatment they need, while reducing the costs of healthcare through avoiding unnecessary or inefficient treatment and allowing medical professionals to focus on care that works.
