Dear constituents,
Yesterday, I co-hosted a free community shredding event.
Unfortunately, the shredding company’s truck did not arrive on schedule. In fact, they did not dispatch a truck until we contacted them when the truck did not arrive at the designated time. This left attendees waiting well past the advertised starting time to begin unloading their material for shredding.
While we ultimately were able to shred the material for many attendees, we know that some constituents left due to time constraints and that many attendees were inconvenienced. I want to apologize for this.
I also want to note that Beth David Reform Congregation?, who were kind enough to allow us to use their parking lot for the event, was not involved in the planning or execution of the event. This event was organized by my office.
