Daley to Attend Listening Session on Solving House Gridlock at St. Joseph’s University on Friday

HARRISBURG, Jan. 26 – State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, announced today that she will be attending a special listening session at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Cardinal John P. Foley Campus Center of St. Joseph's University, 5600 City Ave., Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania House Speaker Mark Rozzi will convene the session and be joined by members of the bipartisan Speaker’s Workgroup to Move Pennsylvania Forward. The listening tour is intended to get input from state residents on possible solutions to the political gridlock in Harrisburg.

“I will be joining this event taking place in my district, as it is an opportunity for me to hear what the citizens of the commonwealth have to say,” Daley said. “I support Speaker Rozzi’s commitment to prioritizing justice for child sexual abuse survivors and drafting appropriate operating rules for the special session and regular session.”

The session, being held in Merion Station, will be the second of four sessions to be held throughout Pennsylvania.

Any constituents who are interested in participating are encouraged to register for a speaking slot on the Listening Tour site. While there might be slots available the day of the event, pre-registrants will have priority. There is also an opportunity to submit written testimony using this form.

Events will be livestreamed at www.RepRozzi.com/ListeningTourLive.
