Rep. Mary Jo Daley January 11, 2022
CONSHOHOCKEN, Jan. 11 – State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, announced $350,000 will be awarded to Conshohocken to support affordable housing in the borough.
The grant will support existing owner-occupied housing in partnership with the Conshohocken Community Development Department.
“The long-standing affordable housing crisis in Montgomery County, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, demands our attention and action,” said Daley. “Investing in affordable housing in Conshohocken means more families will be able to own homes and keep a roof above their head for years to come.”
The funds are being awarded through the Pennsylvania HOME Investment Partnerships Program, a federally funded program that provides municipalities with grant and loan assistance to expand and preserve the supply of decent and affordable housing for low- and very low-income Pennsylvanians.
