ABOUT THE LGBTQ+ EQUALITY CAUCUS


The Pennsylvania LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus a bipartisan and bicameral caucus made up of members of the General Assembly whose mission is to advocate for equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual and people of all genders and sexualities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Equality Caucus was formed in 2011 to advocate for the rights of LGBTQ+ people and stand up for the idea that “We, the People” means ALL the people. The caucus includes Members who are part of the LGBTQ+ community as well as lawmakers who are allies all working together for a fairer tomorrow.
