Funding will support master plan aimed at enhancing the park

CORAOPOLIS, Sept. 3 – State Rep. Anita Kulik, D-Allegheny, announced today that Kennedy Township has been awarded a $50,000 state grant for the Fairhaven Park master plan.
The grant, awarded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, will be used to support a master plan that addresses both current and future needs of the park, laying the groundwork for subsequent construction and upgrades.
"I am thrilled to see this investment in Fairhaven Park, which is such a cherished part of our community," said Kulik. "This grant will help us ensure that the park remains a safe, enjoyable and accessible space for everyone in Kennedy Township. I look forward to seeing the positive impact this funding will have on our local families and outdoor enthusiasts."
